In 1896 Gaetano Carraro started selling some types of green coffee in his grocery shop in Schio (VI) for roasting in the fireplace at home. In 1927 his son Mario developed the first workshop for roasting and packing coffee on an industrial scale. Piercing flavour, full bodied with distinctive crema 30% Arabica and 70% Robusta.
