Description
Stylish, compact, rosewood chest of drawers; designed by Eric Jensen and Juul Andersen, manufactured by Westergaard Mobelfabrik, 1960s, Denmark.
The body of the chest is rosewood veneer on engineered board, and contains six drawers; the drawer fronts have one piece of rosewood veneer split over them, so that the fronts feature one continuous grain pattern. The drawers are pine lined with machine dovetail joints, and are painted white inside. The drawer fronts feature solid rosewood, recessed, moulded finger pulls. The whole unit sit on solid beech, turned, tapering legs, that are stained dark.
This stylish chest of drawers would fit perfectly within mid-century, Danish Modern and contemporary design schemes.
