In 1985, Chef Larry Raymond perfected his family’s recipe and entered their sweet and tangy barbecue sauce into the country’s largest rib coofoff. He named it after the nickname his brother got whilst playing basketball on Chicago’s West Side – “Sweet Baby Ray.” The sauce is so fine, they taste beat out nearly 700 entries in the riboff. Within a year, a company was formed around the award winning sauce and its’ creators simple philosophy about barbecue. “The Sauce Is The Boss.”.

Directions
Use as a marinade or baste while grilling meats. Can also be used as a dipping sauce for snacks and appetizers.
